Dan Rawsthorne at SD West 05
Dan Rawsthorne introduced the basic concepts involved in developing use cases. His colorful and engaging slides conveyed the concepts well, and Dan's frequent use of impromptu humor made the process of learning highly enjoyable. Before attending Dan's presentation, I was already familiar and comfortable with the process of developing use cases, but I nevertheless learned several new and helpful ways of approaching the issues.
Dan made a point of leaving the more complex issues for a subsequent class, which I also attended, enjoyed and found valuable. One of Dan's diagrams was especially helpful. In an engaging way, it clearly conveyed the process flow by which a use case begins to take shape, and by which it evolves to become a highly refined set of user requirements.
